A6061 - RAM2
Aluminum A6061-RAM2, developed by Elementum3D, is an advanced aluminum alloy tailored for LPBF. It combines the well-known 6061 alloy with a reactive additive manufacturing (RAM) process, which reduces the warping and cracking typical of standard aluminum alloys in 3D printing. Compared with AlSi10Mg, A6061-RAM2 offers higher ductility and better surface quality, and is supported on OCM’s BOLDseries systems.
